Driving test question: Why is this the answer?

When you reach an intersection with stop signs at all four corners, you must yield the right-of-way to the driver:

    B. That arrived before you

Why isn't the answer A. on your right?

I’m scared to learn how to drive. Any advice to encourage me? ?

I’m currently 19 years old and I still don’t know how to drive. My parents took me out so I could drive around neighborhoods and parking lots to get things slowly started. I kept doing that for about 2 months until they decided to make me drive on a busy road with stop lights. I felt super overwhelmed and terrified. When I did something wrong my parents yelled at me and eventually told me to get off the wheel since I made a mistake while taking a u-turn. after that I felt discouraged, disappointed, and terrified. Driving just felt so overwhelming and complicated, I am scared of crashing my parents car. What should I do? Please help.

Why would you slow down when being tailgated -- driving test question?

    Favorite Answer:

Driving faster doesn't help. The tailgater speeds up and usually gets even closer.

Gradually slowing down deescalates the situation. It sends the message that this isn't going to help you and we're going to keep slowing down until you back off.

how to cope with rude driving examiners for road test?

today i took my first road test. i thought i was ready. my instructor taught me everything and and i was confident i was gonna ace the test. everything was great until i hopped in the car with the examiner who was a complete jerk! first off he doesn’t even say hello. and bc of COVID obviously we had to wear our masks and i guess mine kept falling down below my nose a little bit and i didn’t notice it and the examiner flipped out and said “put your mask over your nose if i have to ask again we will not do the test” as if i was doing it on purpose. so i start driving and we get to a stop sign and i make a complete stop like i’m supposed to but i forgot to look both ways! so him already not happy over the mask started getting angry with me for not looking right before turning left so that was one screw up! as i was approaching a green light it was one of those lights that change super fast so he told me to turn left at the light so as i’m turning left i didn’t notice the light turned red so all of a sudden he’s flipping out telling me to stop and that the light was red and i was just i. complete shock because i swore it was green so i said “i’m sorry sir i swore the light was green” and he said “no it was buddy it’s clearly red what is wrong with you?” and the light turned green again and people were waving at me to go and i was trying to go and the examiner had his foot on the brake tight (yes he had a brake in the passenger seat) and he was like-

Who has the right of way when I'm turning left on a solid green light, and the vehicle from the opposite side is also turning left?

I'm fairly new to driving, and I'm really enjoying it so far. My instructor told me to claim the intersection when turning left on a solid green light, I know that oncoming traffic going straight has the right of way, but what about the oncoming traffic that is going left? The last few times I claimed the intersection to turn left, the oncoming traffic turning left went too far into the intersection making it kind of dangerous for me to turn left.... and then by the time they turned left the light was amber and I had to rush through the red light so cars wouldn't hit me since I already claimed the intersection. So how do I handle this? Who has the right of way?

I'm still new to driving, and I just need to know the answer to this to avoid getting into accidents obviously.

Why can't females backup properly in their vehicles?

They can't do a proper 90 degree parking backing up, they can't parallel park and they can't just park backing up normally? Many have had their license for decades too.

Do I need to "wait" at an intersection when making a right hand turn when the light has a "RED ARROW"?

The last time I waited, everyone was honking their horns at me. Doesn't red arrow mean full stop?

    UTV street legal?

    Favorite Answer:

Crash test certification, airbags, emissions control gear it doesn’t count as a motorcycle, and even new motorcycles must meet appropriate emissions laws), seatbelts, collapsible steering column, dual-circuit braking, rollover protection.

By no means an even remotely exhaustive list.

They’re only legal for very short trips on roads between adjacent plots of offroad land. Such as a farmer or park-keeper may need to relocate between one field/park and another which are very close together.

How do I overcome fear of driving on main roads?

I just got my drivers license a few weeks ago but I never really drove on the main roads like highways and just any road with a lot of cars on it mainly cause my parents were to scared to take me on those roads. I will be taking 3 class course with an instructor that will take me on the main roads soon but any advice right now would greatly help.

Is it a good idea to keep a club (anti theft device) in your car?

Is this really a good idea, or does it cause people to want to break into your car?

If your being tailgated and doing the speed limit or 5pmh over, how do you react?

Do you give in and speed up or slow down to piss them off and get revenge?

What is your opinion of this use of hazard flashers in a car?

    Favorite Answer:

Cars have brake lights.  If you are using the brakes to slow down somewhere that it is common to do so, and your brake lights work, there in no need for the flashers.  If you are slowing down somewhere unexpected, or without using the brakes, and definitely if your brake lights aren't working, use the flashers.

I live in Mississippi and got fired for not driving on icey roads?

I’ve tried looking for the laws here but I can’t find them, we don’t live in a state that snows all the time or is used to wintery weather. When it snows it alerts a lot like it just did they advise everyone to stay home they have shutdown our interstates and a lot of main roads because it is too dangerous. I texted my boss a day before saying I wouldn’t be able to come in Monday since the roads are too slick and no one is out and she fired me. She said “I have my kids at work with me if you can’t be a grown person and come to work I won’t need you anymore” meanwhile we are three inches deep in ice. Any tips?
