I saw potential but didn't want to dive right in (never met his family or friends-still haven't) then last summer we became very close and planned a vacation together. We were both thinking this could be the thing to kick start our relationship and make it official. But, I started noticing that he would keep texting his mum throughout the day. He lives with her and needs to tell her his location and what he's doing. He told me he doesn't know how to cook/clean, said he's never ironed a shirt before since his mum does everything. He didn't help plan the vacation and expected me to do all the research. He did send me his half of the money when I needed to book the flight/hotels. He told me his mum said a girl is useless if she can't cook well. He always asks his mum for permission. I voiced my frustration saying it's not fair that I'm planning everything. But then he said 'I've never been exposed to that culture so I don't know.' even though I suggested GOOGLE! So the pandemic happened, trip got cancelled, he kept chasing me for the refund every 4-5 days. The airline took 7 months to refund the money, he did not want to call the airline so he kept texting me saying his mum is chasing again and again. I then got the final refund and sent it back immediately. I then stopped talking to him completely because he's annoying. He's upset that I'm not replying to his texts.
