Workers' Compensation--income tax?
Received workers' compensation for a week at a temporary job, but everything I've read says that it's not taxable income. However, taxes were withheld!
Here's how the form reads:
Total charges: 152.79
Total payable: 45.84
Total withhold: 106.95
Total amount paid: 45.84
How in the world do I file this?

Is it crazy, or do you believe in love at first sight?

For those delaying and selectively vaxing, which have you found are the most medically unnecessary, backed up by scientific research?
The only ones I am dead-set against are the varicella and Hep B, and the flu shot when it becomes relevant.
3 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoBest sling/wrap?
Any suggestions for the best sling and/or wrap for a plus-size mom having a c-section, that's never used one before?
One of my best friends is having a baby in December. She's never used a sling/wrap before and was very interested when I told her about them. I showed her a Moby wrap and she thought it looked too complicated, however, she loved the idea of it.
Any ideas on which would be best for her? Something uncomplicated, size-friendly and won't irritate her c-section incision?

I'm a 25-year-old white female getting ready to start back to school via an online program through my state. The problem is, the FAFSA says I'm pretty set financially. How it figured that, I'll never know. So, I need some help.
First, I'd like to know if there is some sort of appeal process for the FAFSA. There is no way the EFC I was given is realistic. I live in the real world, with real bills and real financial responsibilities that I can't avoid.
I don't want a student loan; I'm already in enough debt and I'm slowly working my way out of it. I don't need more debt to look forward to. But, I'm not eligible for grants, even though I can barely afford my bills monthly and I don't meet the requirements for a state lottery requirements because a) I'm not a graduating senior and b) I've previously been enrolled in college.
I'm very frustrated by this whole thing. It's like you can't get help unless you're in/graduating high school or have no income whatsoever.

3 AnswersFinancial Aid1 decade agoComcast High Speed Internet setup?
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm having Comcast High Speed Internet installed tomorrow, and I'm a little unsure about the process.
I asume the installer will bring with him everything I need, but is that right?
And I definitely don't have to have a landline, correct? That's my main reason for switching over to high speed. I'm basically paying over $40/month for dial-up, because I only use my landline to connect.
I'll have Internet access immediately after it's set up, right?
Anything else you want to throw in there about the whole shebang would be great.
Thanks, and I'm sorry about my woeful ignorance about this whole subject!
