  • I evidently tried restoring windows 98 with the wrong disk - HELP!?

    When it prompted for the registration key I hit enter as it already had it entered in the boxes. Then said that it was an invalid number. So it shut the computer down.. and it won't start up with out the corrrect key. This is an old computer and I may have misplaced the correct windows 98 disk... Is there any way to get this computer working again or is just junk now... By the way, I have tried the HP System Recovery disk but it just freezes the computer when I hit the system restore button.
