Retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant (Gunny) who served from 1970 to 1990 active; volunteered and did serve in Vietnam. Pet peeves are people who do not know Vietnam veterans were 75% volunteer and think they were all drafted and people who attack instead of discuss things. Conservative on the military, national defense and world political view but middle of the road with most personal liberty issues and a strong believer in what the Constitution says and what it meant to say. Dislike name calling and falsehoods spread as facts and think the only way the country is going to get better is through discussion and compromise. Dislike all political parties because they are ran by the extreme wings/groups on issues instead of being representative of the American public which is more middle of the road then any of them.
