Need some advice! Who should claim, me or my fiance?
Me and my fiance had our babyboy Jan.14th, 2011. We live seperately, he lives with his parents & I moved back in with my parents November 2010 because my mom is a stay at home mom so she would be able to babysit when I returned to work (fiance's parents both have 9-5 jobs M-F) unfortunately I got laid off 3 days before I even returned to work! So long story short, my son is with me 24/7, I do go back and forth between my parents house and my fiance's parents house but our son is with me majority of the time, should I claim him or should my fiance claim him because he works and I dont? (I was a contractor at Boeing and then got laid off, I made about $3k for the month that I worked there) and I am on unemployment too
