I was raised in what is now an ELCA Lutheran Church. I became an Assemblies of God Minister in 1974. This was long before the Internet. I served in places like Normal, Streator, Skokie, Barrington, IL and Syracuse, NY. I preached my first sermon in El Cajon, a suburb of San Diego in 1972. I left that denomination about 20 years ago and ever since have been calling myself just a Bible believing non denominational Christian.
