how do turtle shells grow?
i have a painted turtle and i've had him/her(Don't know the sex, please don't tell me how to tell if its a boy or girl i'm happy not knowing) for about two years, but i just started to notice something about it's shell, little bits keep coming off. should i take it to a vet or should i not worry about it?
