I will use it mainly for researching stocks. l have found a laptop that I like but have been told that with a notebook I will be able to use 'apps' which will give me a wider range of research tools. I normally use Google Finance, TDWaterhouse and similar sites. Will the 'apps' available for notebooks be better/different from the websites that I can access on my desktop?

I currently use my computer to watch movies, research and buy/sell stocks, and keep in touch with grandchildren on Facebook. I do not need a laptop as I am comfortable at my desk. I am thinking of buying an additional large screen to enhance the movie viewing experience but would normally use the regular screen. Which one should I choose and why?

Ammonium nitrate, NH4NO3, is a nitrogen fertilizer. What effect will the application of an aqueous solution of this fertilizer have on the pH of the soil? Will it tend to raise the pH, lower it, or leave it unchanged?

if you also know how to predict if something will hydrolyze that will help me because I don't understand it and I need someone to put it into basic terms with me

BTW I am in Chem 12 but younger students may have covered this subject already...please ask your children if they know anything about hydrolysis.

I live in the lower mainland of British Columbia and have tried Walmart and London Drugs, where I bought them. Neither carried the lights and they burn out quickly. I have also tried specialty lighting shops with no luck
