Can you fix stupid??????????????
Why are there so many dumb questions on Yahoo Answers? I understand that there are people out there that just can't help being retarded, but come on people use a little common sense. I like trying to help answer questions to individuals who have legitimate questions, but I always run across those few that make me think about what this world is coming to. So, can you fix stupid?? 5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoMixing Sata and IDE drives?
I know its possible because it worked for me for a few days, so here is the problem...... I have a Sata drive currently as my primary with XP as my OS. I added an IDE drive and ribbon cable and changed the jumper setting to slave. The PC booted and read the drive. I formatted the IDE drive and set it up for storage. I then added RAM. When I booted the PC up again I have a message "NTLDR is missing" which I had found out that its b/c there is no OS or boot image on the IDE drive. When I unplug the IDE cable everything boots fine. So I know the problem is the computer trying to boot the IDE as the primary and not the SATA.
SO the question is why? Why is it trying to boot the IDE as the primary and not the SATA? The SATA has no jumpers and I couldn't find nothing to change in the BIOS. Am I missing something?

You a born, mature and then either picked for procesing or grow old and fall off the tree and wither away on the ground. My question is "what is the point of living when death is the only solution?"
