How to hold 120 film strips together?
Okay, this is going to sound a bit crazy, but here it goes...
I found a lamp at a Goodwill that would be PERFECT for my Fujiroid emulsion lift projects. I'm only running into one problem - it didn't have a lampshade. I'm considering finding another lampshade at Goodwill (even if it's beat up, as long as the supports are okay - not planning on using the shade proper, just the ring that holds it) and fashioning a lampshade using rolls of respooled 120 film that I shot with my Argus 75. Since 120 film isn't too wide, I'll need to fasten them together somehow to make the "shade" hang lower.
Right now I'm somewhat going in the direction of fishing line - nice and non-intrusive. Like I said, I realize this is a crazy idea. I'm going to be using black and white negative film - I'm not quite ready to drop too much on stringing together Fuji Velvia together when I can't be 100% sure how long it'll last.
Any one have any ideas?
