I live in the country on a few acres of land surrounded by a state forest . I write a weekly column for a local newspaper and other publications. I try to highlight the positive aspects of life; family, friends, faith and nature, along with human interest stories. I also do photography part-time. I enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I'm also an avid reader and love to learn. I tend to think deeply, but love laughter too. I love animals and lost my sweet 15 yr.old dog Jessie last year.. I have one big cat, Reilly, who often thinks he is a dog.. I'm the mom of two grown sons. I try to hang with those who enjoy life, have a sense of humor, and respect for one another.
