I was away looking at apartments across the country 2 weeks ago. I swiped through a dating app and decided to accept an invite to dinner. I have not had a date like this in years! We hit it off and had such a great time. Laughing and talking... I felt like we have met before. He drove me back to my hotel and gave me a sweet romantic kiss goodbye. He was a gentleman and did not try to take it further than that.

We stayed in touch texting every day. He was eager to make plans to visit me or me come back to visit him. We decided on spending New Years Eve weekend together in another city with another couple who he s friends with.

It sounds crazy on the outside, but it honestly felt right and I m excited for the weekend to come! My only question... I don t have a timeline when I sleep with someone. Sometimes it s on the 2nd or 3rd date, and sometimes the 6-8th date. I LOVE building up sexual tension and that crazy "I want you now" feeling. BUT we love be spending the weekend together on our (technically) 2nd date!

If I decide to have sex with him... will that ruin a chance for possibilities of when I move there in 1-2 months? Or if the passion is there, should I just go for it?
