I live in Indiana I started in traditional Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do at 13. The class I was in switched to Shotokan shortly after I tested for my Chodan. I continued in Shotokan for several years until the class broke up. I then went to Kajukenbo, and stayed with that until the instructor moved away. I have since reverted to Shotokan. While I consider myself more traditionally taught and oriented, I have competed and was ranked by NASKA and RSKC in the late 80's and early 90's
