I have spent most of the last 33 years looking at life through the windshield of a truck. I must be doing something right because in the 3 million miles I have herded a "large car" between the lines, I have never had a ticket or accident. I'm not saying I haven't deserved a few, but I have lady luck to thank for that. In '97, I lost my hearing to an alergic reaction to medication. It's no fun going deaf at age 44, but life does go on. I opted to get a cochlear implant (aka "bionic ear") and have a liveable amount of hearing again. I can pass the DOT physical and still be a productive member to society (well?), so life has been pretty good to me. I grew up in Colorado. Sixteen years ago, my loving spouse and I decided that we were done with the snow and cold, so we moved to the Great Northwest. With our son now grown and gone, we spend our free time playing with our 1956 F-100 Big Window Ford pickup. I have gone full circle... Back playing with toy trucks. :-}

  • Excel Question?

    My wife has hit a wall and has asked me to ask you if you can help.... here is her question....

    "Ask how someone would create a formula in excel that would add a number in columnQ to a total at the bottom of that column only if there was the letter "A" in column T in the same row. Does that make sense? I know it can be done, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it. "

    Any help would be greatly appreciated....

    Thanks,

  • Seating arrangements??

    In fixed wing aircraft, the pilot sits in the left seat and copilot sits in the right one. On rotory aircraft it is reversed. Is there a valid reason why is there a reversal of seating?

  • What makes the difference between a "Boat" and a "Ship".?

    A Navy Submarine is still classified as a boat. An Auto/Passenger Ferry is a Motor Vessel and is still called a boat. Some of them are over 450 feet long. Some Container ships are powered with huge diesel engines, not unlike the Ferry boats, so what makes the difference between a boat and a ship?
