In this movie there's like different schools of sword fighting styles, each with an animal name. This one guy with the 'Scorpion style' has the ability to imitate and defeat them all. The hero think he actually starts off in the 'Dragon style' school, but is punished and gets sent to the blacksmith where he learns an obscure Reverse Grip style of the blacksmiths. The Scorpion guy is confused and defeated by this style. Other than that don't know much else, but seems like it might be more of a Hong Kong movie by the look of it. There's nothing online. Been searching for years.

Think the movie is from the mid or late 90s though. Starts off with a guy that works at like some private rural field in the mountains were they only have one small propeller plane. He burns the place down and he ends up at some ski resort. Think he goes there looking for work. Afterwards just kind of turns into your typical ski movie. I know for sure the movie is not from the 80s though. It's also not a very well known one.

It is a Kung Fu movie where there is a temple were there are guilds of sorts and each of them has a kung fu technique. the bad guy learns all the technique and is able to defeat all the other masters. Except for the underhand sword technique that this guy learns from the blacksmith after he is sent there for punishment (or because he did not get accepted int the other technique schools).

Not sure if it's a Kung Fu movie exactly, and think it might be from the 90s but there's this temple or society were they have sword fighting techniques and the bad guy infiltrates them or learns/imitates all their techniques. Think he had a 'Scorpion' style that imitated them all. So well the good guy had been sent to the blacksmith as punishment were he learns a technique of fighting with the sword blade facing down by holding the handle in a way that the pummel is facing up, think they might of called it the 'underhanded technique'. And using this technique he defeats the bad guy.

The young guy is contacted thru dreams. Think he gets scarred with fire in the end and accepts his fate that he is one of them (freaks/demons) but he looked human. There is an implication that this freak civilization was pushed underground by humans, and humans and god are evil and they are benevolent. Kind of has a philosophical vibe similar to the movie Nightbreed, but they're not alike...it's kind of dark and gloomy, but not definately not a B movie. Oh before he gets to the end scene he swims thru like underground tunnel/architecture and emerges thru and indoor round pool... looks like an underwater palace made of whittish brick.In the "marriage" ceremony there are figures wearing black cloaks. That's as much as I can remember...
