Will 80-86 F250 4x4 headers fit in the chassis of a 78 F-150 4x4 with a 460 swap?
I have a 1978 F-150 that I have swapped a 1986 460 into. I have been running stock manifolds, but have several upgrades on the engine and the manifolds just don't flow like I want. A friend of mine that lives in Texas has a 1986 F-250 with a 460 that has been totaled, but has a good set of hedman headers. Will these fit or amI stuck with the $450-600 engine swap headers? Both are 4x4's and the headers look to be very similar in shape to the chassis exit headers offered by L&L, but I don't want to waste the time and money involved in getting them from TX to NC if they are too wide or won't clear my driveline.
