  • What is the prognosis of a person who has Stenosis?

    A few months back i was diagnosed with having stenosis of the neck.I am currently in PT three times per week,doing traction and excersises to strenghth neck,also been getting nerve blocks every month and a half.C-5 and c-6 are pintched,however thinking other nerves on right side being effected,as they too are starting to get pain running down the arm and hand along with numbness.Is there a cure for this,or is this part of the degenerative process?How long will it take before it effects me to the point of not being able to do normal tasks i do everyday?

  • What type of sleep disorder may this be?

    Hello,I recently had a sleep study done and the finding are i have a sleep disorder and i am being refered to a sleep disorder specialist.I was told i do not go into the deep sleep(REM) and that the maintance of the other sleep stages are disordered.Wanted to know if anyone has this type of problem and how they are dealing with it or what has helped them to feel well rested,as it has been many years since i have gotten a good nights rest.Appreciate all feedback.

  • How do i discourage my Devon Rex kitty from climbing the curtains?

    I recently adopted a Devon Rex kitten and he is very active and really loves to climb,i however am having problems with keeping him from climbing the curtains and keeping him out of things as he loves to get into mischief,what would be a good way of teaching him that no means no?I also have another cat who is 8 yrs old and when he is trying to eat,TJ,the Devon Rex kitty pushes him away.Have any advice on how to solve this problem.If anyone owns a Devon Rex would like to learn more about their habits,so i know what is too be expected.

  • Recently diagnosed with Degenerative Joint and Disc Disease?

    I want to know what treatment options there are,also how long will it take until i may not be able to do some of the things i currently do now.I work at a restaurant and at times lifting and other physical work is required.i want to be able to do the things i do,but will admit at times pain is unbearable and causes problems with some of the tasks i perform at my job.I wish to not take pain meds,is there another alternative.Need more information on the prognosis of this disease.Thank you for any input any of you may have,as it will be greatly appreciated.
