Probably best-classified as a longtime TechnoGeek (in both Computers and Communications / HamRadio) since the mid-60's. Studied Dartmouth-BASIC when it was barely a year old as a programming language (on an old GE/Tymshare mainframe via punch-tape & TeleType) and earned his first of many FCC licenses at age 14.
