I used to be a huge bookworm, I don't mind what kind of genre it is, I just need some kind of motivation to get back to it.

My current problem is: I own a huge digital library, however sometimes I don't feel up to it, or the digital "page" looks boring, and even sometimes my eyes hurt when reading...

And each time I pickup a hardcopy it feels weird, the paper for some reason feels uncomfortable to my fingers... Weird right?

Any tip is appreciated also suggestions are also appreciated.

I can't remember what it's called but I know the basic concept of it, it happens a lot in the short stories I read every now and then.

But basically what the writer does is subtly use dialogue to add information about the past or a reason why the protagonist is doing what he's doing. It's hard to explain because I don't have any examples however that's pretty much the jist of it. It also makes it look incredibly obvious too.. But yeah the author usually uses dialogue that doesn't sound very realistic to add information about the past, present, and the future and even the character and their agenda.

It's been bugging me for ages now and google doesn't want to help me, can you? :)
