My boyfriend of over 2 years told me very casually last night, "If I wanted to date someone sexy, I wouldn't still be with you." He then asked me why I was upset and proceeded to tell me I should take it as a compliment. Please tell me if I misunderstood this statement(he isn't usually good with words, but this one hurt bad).
