I've been a heavy smoker for over 35 years and am on my third day smoke free. So far its been relatively easy, I've kept busy etc to avoid thinking about cigarettes and although the thought of lighting up does pop into my mind I have been strong. I thought that the first few days would be hardest but am now wondering whether the cravings will get worse over time. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm 18 and claiming JSA at £71 per week. I also get my rent and council tax paid which is £55 and £14 per week. This adds up to £140 per week. I've just been offered a job at 30 hours a week at £4.98 an hour. This works out at £149.40. I've got to buy a buspass at £65 per month as well. I really want this job because I dont want to be on benefits but I've been told by my job advisor that I cant get any help with rent or council tax because I haven't had any kids. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. What do you think I should do?

I have asked a few questions expecting to get some helpful responses but have received a ridiculous amount of unhelpful comments and some are down right rude. I really do wonder why people take the time to look at the questions if they are only going to state nasty things

I recently applied for a job working with young people with learning disabilities and have been offered the position subject to an enhanced CRB check. I wasn't aware that cautions come up on the disclosure until today. On my application form I did disclose a minor conviction that I had when I was 14 but did not mention the caution. I have emailed the company to let them know about the caution but now I'm really worried that smoking weed all those years ago will stop me from working with this group of people.

I need to rent a 3 bedroomed house in Blackpool with a small well behaved dog. I cannot find anything suitable online, does anyone out there know of anyone renting. I am prepared to pay up to £600 per month and have the first months rent and deposit. any help is appreciated

My 15 year old daughter was taken into care because of her cannabis habit and mixing with older people. She was exploited and was involved in prostitution among other things. She was taken 300 miles away from the negative influences and was not allowed out at all. She got off the weed and began a college course. Within weeks of being at college she has got in with a crowd that take drugs etc. She just seems to want to throw her life away and lies constantly. I am at the end of my tether and just don't know what to do next. I decided to relocate to that area to be near her when she first began making progress, but am scared that now she has had the freedom she will continually make wrong choices. Should I keep listening to her lies? I am desperate to believe her when she tells me stuff, ut deep down I know shes lying again. I just don't know what to do.

I take my 2 year old Staffie for a 60 minute run in the hills every morning and evening. I also take him for 3 X 30 minute walks during the day, on average he goes out every 3 hours. I've been told that I take him out for too long by a fellow dog walker, but he seems OK. I don't have any behaviour problems with him, in fact he is a great dog, I'm just worried that I might be over exercising him and possibly damaging his legs. He's my first dog, I love walking with him and would appreciate any feedback to make sure I'm doing whats best for him. thanks
