  • Data backup, use Windows 7's backup or Western Digital?

I'm going to lose my computer to hardware repair, so I have to back up my data. I have a Western Digital Essential drive, and it can hold my data and more. The question is, should I use WD's "backup" program that comes with it, or should I wipe the drive permanently and use the Windows 7 backup? Which one would make turn my computer to its prior state best?

    Thanks for the help!

  • My Xbox live account...?

Yea, I have an Xbox live account I made, and figuring that since I was 17, nothing would be restricted. Unfortunately, it prevents me from downloading M rated Trailers, R rated movies, Ect. When I turn 18 on the 28th of january, will these restrictions be lifted from my account? I really hope so, because getting Netflix for my live account would be pretty dang awesome... If it doesnt, are there any ways into getting the restrictions lifted?

  • Do you know any genuinely free dating sites?

Yea, I like talking over the internet a little more than trying to flirt with people who may not actually be single, so do you know of any good dating sites that:

    -Are free

    -Require no credit card

-No "You must pay $19.95 to talk to this person" crap

A good example is www.speedate.com, 10 points to whoever helps!

  • where have all the single girls gone?

Geez, Ive realised that lately, all the girls who are in high school are dating college students, 19-25 year olds. Seriously, can they just save some for the actual people in high school? I don't understand how they dont get that dating a man who is way older than you is a good idea! I mean, if this trend continues, how do guys like us get girlfriends if the college guys are taking a massive chunk?

  • Sometimes I wonder if its even worth trying?

I'm a Junior in High School, and I'm trying to get a date for prom...sorta. What I mean is that I've asked roughly 12 girls over the course of two weeks, and I have until May 10th. I didn't ask them right out of the blue, I've known some of them since 7th grade, but I keep getting turned down. Looking at this reflects on my problems on even attempting a relationship, I havent had a girlfriend since the end of 8th grade, and every time I try to ask a girl, it seems that they don't seem to take any interest in me. I ask them to a movie or a school football game after a while, but they all either say no, or never get in contact with me. Is this normal? I know it's high school, but isn't high school technically training for relationships in college? I don't have any problem talking to people, its just that it's not working out at all. Can I have any advice on getting a prom date, or even a date at all?

PS. My parents ARE forcing me to go to prom, so not going isnt exactly an option...

  • THIS WILL BREAK...the laws of physics... I think..?

Ok, I know this idea sounds weird, but hear me out, I think I have found a way to harness eternal energy. I call it the leviating cat-toast theory.

Ok, lets start with the basis of this theory, Murphy's law: "What can go wrong, will go wrong."

Now, have you ever dropped buttered toast? it drops butter side down.

Also, another law: "A cat will always land on its feet" Ok, thats an easy one, now think about this:

What would happen if you duct tape buttered toast to the top of a cat...and drop it???

The toast would land buttered side down, but the cat wants to land on its feet...

My theory is this, nature would choose its easiest (and laziest option), the cat simply does NOT FALL!!! It levitates!!! What do you think?

Also, if this does not occur, that would break Murphy's law

Guess i had too much time on my hands...
