I am a 48 year former US Marine. 1. I don't believe anything anybody tells me 2. I don't believe anything I tell my self. At first this sounds harsh but upon closer look you will see the great advantage this give us. We all look at life and then we tell a story with words about what we think we have seen. All our judgments and biased opinions are in there. Someone’s story may make me happy. I may agree with their story but in the end it's just a story. As is mine. So all my beliefs are just part of a story I tell myself. Hardly the truth, so I simply do not believe it.
