Strung out on the IRL (now called IndyCar Series, or ICS for short). I'm a 59 year-old, retired journalist, retired legal/medical stenographer, 60's "Gypsy", with more education than anyone really needs. I go to as many IRL races per season as I can afford (which means that I don't get to nearly as many as I'd like to LOL). I live on the west coast of Canada (Victoria, B.C., on Vancouver Island; just north of Seattle,) although I'm currently caring for my elderly Parents (in their 80's) near Niagara Falls, Ontario (and taking advantage of the proximity to IRL venues LOL). ADDENDUM: My folks went on to their just rewards (within a week of each other) on Oct. 21 and 28 of last year. It has been a difficult year. Now I'm spinning my wheels 'til the 09 Season, when I plan on attending more races in one season than I have managed until now! St. Petes, the 500, Watkins Glen, Toronto and Edmonton races entwine with my return-to-Victoria road trip. (Wish me luck!!!)
