My computer just did an auto update and now it's playing muzak in the back ground. How do I make it stop? lol

In the U S A, in Mo. 35 miles west of St Louis and we got 3 inches of ice and supposed to get 5-9 inches of snow before it quits.

Fun for the kids, bad for the drivers who think they just have to get out in this nasty stuff.

We're staying at home with no plans of leaving before the roads are totally cleaned off. I'm lovin' it.

Like the snow, hate driving in it and refuse to.

Like watching the kids play, though.

Since updating, can't scroll smoothly. I get a wavy effect on monitor.

machine and mouse fine before update. Have adjusted everything thought of, # of lines, speed, even looked in 'help and support' file. Tried everything they suggested, but it didn't stop the 'wavy' effect.

I'm a computer dummy, so give details please.

I don't want to totally dump the hard drive, but will if I can't fix this before I pull my hair out or get sea sick. lol

I start giving a thumbs down to people who have to list the WHOLE BOOK rather than a line or two and a sight address for an answer?

Even though it's right, it's still annoying to see a whole book rather than a sight address.

Mother died 6 wks ago. Father has bad eyesight and trusts family members. He didn't see when a family member got checkbook to pay bills, that she took a check from back of book.

The check cleared the bank and I got a copy of it. It is not my mother's handwriting or signiture and was written while she was in hospital. I nor my father know the person that it's made out to. It was cashed at issuing bank. $800.

I know who did it, I only want solid proof before I confront them. They're the only others that had access, they are married but unemployed and would do it together.

Don't want the law involved, but I WILL deal with them and it won't be pretty.

Haven't done a people search yet, am going there now, but any suggestions are welcome.
