I used to be an atheist. Today I am a Jesus Follower and have been for more than 20 years. I prefer "Jesus Follower" because the label "Christian" has been mis- and over-used. I follow Jesus for two reasons: - Honest scholarship and inquiry has demonstrated that God exists, that he has the characteristics described in the Bible, and that the Bible is authentic and reliable. We can be sure that Jesus said and did what the Bible tells us. - Following Jesus changes lives. I can't explain *everything*, but I can point to countless numbers of people, including me, whose lives have been changed by him. Jesus is Lord and Savior. I strive to live my life led by his spirit. I am not perfect, but I am forgiven. In my answers in this forum, I will strive to let Jesus show through my words.
