I was rated positively on a dating site by some girl I rated positively. I don't know the best thing to say to her in a first message. What should I say? This is so completely different from any other interaction I've had, "real" or online. You normally ease into things. Here it's like, you have to prove yourself off the bat, and not in a normal way of first impressions either. How do I get over that feeling of worrying about messing up? If I feel like I'm going to mess up, I'm going to mess up. I feel much more like using a word starting with 'f' rather than "mess", because I don't feel like it's "just a mess-up". I feel a little stronger than that.
