I am a former middle school language arts teacher who now teaches education classes at the undergraduate level at my local community college. And yes I really am a Stacie's mom--living with a 12 year old is a definite wild ride! Politically, I am a left-leaning moderate---somewhat fiscally conservative and yet socially liberal. And yes I voted for Obama. I love the intelligent discourse that is possible here, but am very dismayed by the amount of hatred by the far right. What happened to tolerance people? Everyone has a right to their own opinions without being roasted over the Yahoo fire. I just can't tolerate intolerance :)
