Do I have low testosterone for a 23 year old male. Details of blood results attached. Seeing a doctor but want advice.?
I'm almost 24 years old. For at least 5 to 6 years my energy levels have been low, I've been a bit down and have been suffering from brain fog and poor concentration. My libido is affected also, I can't matain a firm erection.
I've also been getting aches in my testicals for years which my doctor at the time said was normal in young men but it is growing worse and more annoying.
I've now noticed a decrease in testical size by 30 percent roughly.
Now I went to see a doc in a walk in clinic and he was very meh and rude about the whole situation saying I'm just depressed, when I feel it's a lot more.
I demanded he run a testosterone and thyroid test.
My testosterone came back at 14 nmol/l which is technically normal. So he rang me and that was that. Two months have now passed so I have begun to question this move he took. I obtained a copy of my bloods and have arranged a new app with a new doctor.
My research tells me a reading of 14 or 400ng/dl is actually in the normal range but the lower normal range. Usually seen in men over the age of 65. So I'm not exactly in the normal range for a young man of 24 years old am I?
I feel there's an issue going on here. I dunno. I feel like an elderly man at times with aches and low libido and severe fatigue
Any comments are much appreciated
