  • What are your pet peeves in Y!A Home & Garden?

    1. People trying to figure out how to grow or smoke marijuana. Shouldn't we really have a separate folder for this?

    2. Questions that automatically start with "Ok so..."

    3. Misspellings. Especially since there is a "Check Spelling" button just up there ^

    4. Questions that are not in the form of a question.

    5. Questions whose topic is "Can anyone help me?" or include "10 points for best answer" (duh, Mr. Obvious)

Cha-ching -5 points for me. Fun and +2 points for you.

  • Has anyone sued a brokerage house and/or their mutual funds?

My broker put me in what was supposed to be an "investment grade" bond fund. Turns out they were playing fast and loose and when the sub-prime mortgage debacle hit, it plummeted down over 50%. He put me in this to moderate my risk. Besides not getting what I was sold, how liable are they for fiscal responsibility, prudent man rule, etc?

If you have, how did it end up?
