Happily married wife, mother of two, and public school teacher. 1 dog, 2 cats. I camp, knit, read, cook, and blog. I was raised a Baptist. I attended church three days a week. I went to my church's private school (with chapel three times a week and daily Bible classes). My education really opened my eyes to how narrow and closed minded my religion had taught me to be. My faith was slowly chipped away. Around the age of 30, I started to study other religions (Wicca and Buddhism mostly), but I became a firm skeptic. I don't believe in the supernatural at all any more, and I don't practice any kind of spirituality. I am 40 and a happy atheist.
