I am a scuba diver and my favorite 'sand box' is in Philippine Islands.. where birds fly lower and girls smile longer. I love traveling and visiting historical places, especially following ancient trade routes. Some of my trips were following the Silk Road through Central Asia and doing the Chinese part by train and bus. .alone without a guide. I have gone up the Indus Valley following the 'Karakoram Hwy' through Pakistan to Chinese border. On another trade route trip I followed the Incense and Spice trail through Yemen and then followed the Gem trade route through India. I overland Siberia, Moscow to Beijing. Of rivers and mountains I have been on the Amazon, Nile, Mekong, Yangtse, Thames, Colorado, Orange, Ughab & Niger; Seen Everest on a fly-by and slept at Lukla base camp, saw K2 and Rakapuchi. Andes and peaks, Cotopaxi, Sangay and Chimburazo (The highest point on earth from the center outwards) and Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia. I am my only child and spoil myself
