Look at my answers to find out about me :)
Can less than 50 g of sample be measured using the bouyoucos hydrometer method of grain size analysis?
Is there a reason 50 g is always used (I only have 10 g to do this!).
If I used 10 g would this impact the measured SG value?
Would it impact the settling times used, i.e. 40 s and 2 h?
My instinct says it wouldn't but I'm uncertain.
1 AnswerEarth Sciences & Geology2 years agoIf I obtain 60pts Masters during my PGCE can I use it for Credit Transfer in an MSc?
I hope to complete a PGCE which contains 60pts at Masters Level. It can be used as credit transfer towards an Masters in Education but is it possible that any university would accept it for credit transfer towards an MSc Geophysics or similar?
My BSc is centred on Geophysics and I'd rather get a Masters in that than education as I am not aiming to become a head teacher but would like to have the option of lecturing at University and studying a PhD in the next decade or so.
