i know all about you. that is why i answer questions.

  • why is Yahoo Mail forcing its users to "upgrade" their mail client?

i still use Yahoo!Mail Classic. not that they haven't switched me to the NEW one (they've done it several times, actually), but i've always "switched back".

i work as "tech support" for about 100 different people, and most of them (the ones who use Yahoo! Mail) STILL prefer Classic. why do they insist on forcing us to use the new mail, when we don't WANT it?!? most people are still running Windows XP (i know i am), because it works just fine for most things, and why "fix" what isn't broke? XP machines are typically older [except the ones i work on myself :) ], so they run slower with the new Y! Mail.

when will Yahoo! listen to its users, and stop FORCING us to upgrade to the New Y!Mail, which only makes us want to switch back more?!?

  • "Your account has been temporarily blocked from sending messages"?

Yahoo thinks i'm a spammer? i've barely sent 10 messages out in the past YEAR! and i checked my Login activity, nothing suspicious there. i NEVER send out bulk emails, and only to colleagues.

even my language is very non-threatening (except that it's all lowercase, but that's just how i "talk" :D )

    what to do?
