38 y/o F. My interest is mostly in health and medicine. I grew up with a physician, was an EMT, been a caregiver most of my life. I have seen and cared for numerous acute, chronic and terminal medical conditions. I, myself, have a heart problem and seizures amongst other things not worth mentioning. Reading and learning about all of these things is my passion. In my younger years I overcame anorexia, bulimia, drug and alcohol abuse, all hell on earth. What's wrong with me now is nothing in comparison. I care deeply about others and their physical/emotional problems. I suppose that's why I'm here. If I can help just one person in any way with what I've been through...then it was/is worth it. Email ok, but I will not respond to such things as "pro-ana" or anything of the sort.
