Anarchist, by which I mean that I believe that people, both 'right' and 'left' , should find balanced, win win solutions to problems through negotiation. And should resist always the abdication of responsibility by signing it over to a celebrity leadership of faux and manufactured personality. There has been a steady evolution of power sharing from the time of God/King onward to 'representative democracy'. That is good but the task is not complete. There is still a gap between you and the person you vote for. You should never vote for somebody you have never met. In fact you should never vote for somebody who is not your friend; or at the least one with whom you are on a nodding acquaintanceship. Do you really want your country to go to war on the decision of some suit you don't know from a bar of soap, but to whom you have given 'power of attorney'?
