  • Asus Laptop N53S With Windows 7 Home Premium and RAM options?

    The laptop has 4 RAM slots and is said it can go up to 16G RAM total. I checked online but most places are offering 2x4G sticks. I was wondering would it be possible to take out the original RAM sticks (mine has 6G [1x2G RAM 1x4G RAM]) and put just 2x8G RAM sticks to have 16G RAM or do I need to still buy 4x4G RAM to get the 16G RAM?

    I am most likely not going to go the full 16G RAM but would like to buy the chip that would last a bit longer and not be obsolete earlier (So 1x8G RAM hopefully if not might have to go 2x4G RAM).
