Can you believe it?
My little sisters listen to the radio station Radio Disney, a station directed at 6 through 11-yr-olds, though most kids I know who listen to it are 8-10. Anyways, they played this song by Linkin Park called "Faint", I don't know if you've heard it, but it's one of their heavier songs (2 or 3 times as heavy as "Numb" or "In The End"), and it goes /I can't feel/ The way I did before/ Don't turn your back on me/ I won't be ignored!/ Time won't heal this damage anymore/ Don't turn your back on me/ I won't be ignored!/. You kind of have to have heard the song to be as surprised as I was, but you get my point. Don't get me wrong, it's one of my favorite songs, but would you really want a young child to hear that?
You have to keep in mind, as well, how heavy the music is. It's like, 135 BPM, with powerful guitars. Not to mention Chester's (the lead singer) screeching vocals. There is one point in the song where he screams /NO/HEAR ME OUT NOW/ YOU'RE GONNA LISTEN TO ME/ LIKE IT OR NOT/ RIGHT NOW/ I can't feel/ The way I did before/ Don't turn your back on me/ I WON'T BE IGNORED!/, but I think that most of that part might have been taken out in the Disney edit and just left the /I WON'T BE IGNORED!/ part.
I just found a place with a 30 second sample of the song:
