i'm torn 50/50 half says yes, half says no way. i can't believe that she would kill him off before the final book. I hope he isn't, but then again it might be a good thing for harry to learnt to deal without him. who knows? i know that i am impatiently waiting fot the last book.

I don't think so. I think it was part of Dumbledore and Snape's plan. I know there's more to it than meets the eye. I just can't believe that after all of Dumbledore's struggles, he will just be killed that easily. I mean, he could have fought Snape. But what did he do? He just let things happen---with Harry just within the vicinity. The fact that he put a curse on Harry for him to listen to their conversation makes it all the more intriguing. From the book, it's obvious that he and Snape have some kind of a plan. He died in Half-blood Prince, but I think he will return in the last book. Harry Potter is not complete without Dumbledore. I can't let that happen! Argh!

Okay, I need you to sit down for a minute, and listen carefully: Dumbledore ISN'T REAL. He's a FICTIONAL character in a series of BOOKS. He was never alive, therefore he can't be dead.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the other hand, is dead, but his spirit lives on as part of the Force.

I've finished all of the books up to Order of the Phoenix and he's totally not dead. What the hell are you even talking about?

Yes, I think he is really dead. He was hit by the killing curse and he fell off a tower.
