Who should we sell our strategic nuclear weapons command to?

Since Bush is busily selling off our strategic assets, I think we should sell NORAD next, but not sure to who. Logic would say Iran, they would love us for it, but I think the Chinese may be able to pay more. Any other suggestions?

Ok, let me dig up the AP release here...

...In approving the purchase, the administration chose not to require Dubai Ports to keep copies of its business records on U.S. soil, where they would be subject to orders by American courts. It also did not require the company to designate an American citizen to accommodate requests by the government...

Sounds a little fishy, considering these are supposedly routine things that were not included. And then there's the simple black and white of the matter...

...It puts Dubai Ports in charge of major terminal operations in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia...

"Major terminal operations"...sounds like it involves a bit more than "who owns the land".

And yes, I would love to see Bush impeached for his umpteenth million policy that somehow lines him and his buddies' pockets while pushing our country to the edge of bankruptcy. If that makes me a "Bush Basher"...good.

I am sure that Bush and his buddys are in for a huge payday. This deal needs to be investigated, As for selling off the nuke command if you sell it to the highest bidder then there will probably nothing in it for the president. So I will probably make a deal with China, who in turn will sell a portion to Iran.

We are not selling off U.S. assets, we are selling a contract to run the ports to a foreign company. A policy that apparently that has been going on for sometime now as other countries have other ports under contract. While these contracts have never caused a blink of our eyes, this contract seems to have infiriated many. The saddest part of this is that no American Company has given a Bid competitive enough to be able to conduct this business. This however is Capitalism at its Best. It also goes a long way in showing Muslim Extremist's that we are willing to do business with a Arab Muslim Country. The only reason that I think that this is receiving so much attention is because President Bush is involved. After all the Media tells us what we think.

Do you even LISTEN to the news, or do you just formulate your own opinions and to hell with the actual facts?

The ownership of the land on which the ports sit has been acquired because an entire company was acquired. We still run our ports, and we still have control over them.

Unless you're just looking for yet another excuse to bash Bush, this is a non-issue.

I don't want to resort to name calling, but I think we should impeach Bush or vote Democrat in the next elections.
