I think it can happen, but it is rare. I have been in love several times and each time the first sight of the person I would come to love was different. The level of attraction and hmm...affinity was different. I don't think any of the first-sightings could be considered love. I do think it is possible though.

I believe in love at first date. Sight is mearly physical, talking with someone for an evening can, I think,let you know if you love or want to love someone.

I believe there is LUSt at first sight which could turn into LOVE, but come on Love at first sigh would be based on looks and that is not love but Lust
