Should there be an age grouping for Yahoo Q and A revealed?

It appears that there are many youngsters in this audience looking for points, not valid answers. Deplorable spelling is frightening. Maybe create something like the child's table at Thanksgiving.

Perhaps age could be shown as part of the profile...........I think the spelling stuff could be reflective of the pervasiveness of Text Messaging - where whole words are reduced to #'s & 1 letter. I agree that it is excrutiatingly difficult to read some of the stuff posted!

heck yes. Even beyond the horror that is these kids' spelling/grammar, kids who aren't old enough to have a driver's permit shouldn't be asking/answering some of the heavy-duty sex questions, nor should they be giving serious advice when their answers are stuff like, "is he HOTT?" I mean, come on now! They should somehow link your account info to which rooms you can/cannot go into so that kids <18 aren't in some of the more adult-oriented question sections and stuff like that.

I do think the kids could learn something from us older folks but I would like to see stronger word filters
and a quicker way to report and ban abusers.

Wouldn't work, kids would create new accounts saying they're older than they really are and some adults are immature and would be better off in the kiddies bit.

True enough. However, a child is sometimes able to spot the simple answers adults cannot.
