What's the better prom hair for an empire waist halter dress with beading?

Would a french braid look better or should I wear my hair down? Any other suggestions are welcome.

Wear your hair down.

Women always go out of their way to look like someone else on big occasions. And as a man I would much rather see the woman that I asked to accompany me then a pulled and teased version of something that they think is impressive. Besides, if you are dressed and made-up in a way that you are not accustom to, you are only going to end up feeling uncomfortable – and that will translate to the way that you carry yourself. Just be the beautiful woman you are in a wonderful outfit with just enough makeup to bring out those delicate features.

Wear it half up so you can have elegant hair that is down and still see your neck/halter. My (gorgeous) sister has a halter for prom this year and that's what she's doing. Unfortunately she has extremely fine hair and will have to try very hard to make it look full unlike your full locks of hair. How pretty!

I haven't seen your hair, but I definitely wouldn't go with a french braid for prom. It's a little juvenile and doesn't fit well with formal wear. I would suggest wearing your hair down with slight waves or just wearing a simple updo.

I would do your hair kinda like this: http://www.beautyriot.com/article.php?id=3437&c_id=71 Maybe a bit fancier.

This way you will be able to see your halter, your earrings and your long curly hair. SEXY!

If you have the money, to to a salon and get your hair done. Bring a picture of your dress and they should be able to tell you what will work best for you.

Have fun & Be safe!

It would be hard to answer this, as what would look best on "you", will depend on the shape of your face and your particular type of hair.

My suggestion would be to check with the opinion of a professional hairstylist. My hairdresser has many awards that she proudly displays. Not all hairdressers are equal, so I would choose carefully for such an important occasion.

You will want someone who will take all of your personal data into consideration.
