Hurry! Hair Help! (Sorry for the alliteration...)?

I've always been a fan of Rita Hayworth, and I was wondering how I could get her signature red, curly-wave locks? I have somwhat-thick hair myself. If I got a perm with large rollers (not small, spiral ones), would that help at all? Also, for the color, my hair naturally is a medium warm brown (see here: http://i3.tinypic.com/xen9qx.jpg ). What color would I use? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

u r sooo right..her hair is gourgous! but i think if ur gunnah dye it..go for like a chesnut or alburn..that will look like her hair..and the large culers that rnt tooo tight..but almsot loose curls...goood luck=)
