Connection to the server cannot be established.?

I'm on my home computer and get the above message. Why/how do I "fix" the problem? My online service is AOL.

Thanks for your help.

The server you are connecting to might be down. There is no way to resolve this on your side.

some a threat motives/concepts: a million) you're no longer linked to the tips superhighway. 2) Your firewall is blockading Firefox. as quickly as you change the firewall off can Firefox connect? 3)you have "artwork Offline" chosen. circulate the 'record' menu (on the appropriate of the browser) and uncheck 'artwork offline" 4) Are your Firefox connection settings applicable. circulate to 'suggestions' -- 'thoughts' -- 'better' -- 'community' and determine them.

You could just not be online...

Try checking all of your connections, cables, power, etc. Sometimes it is just that easy. Otherwise, I would call AOL and ask them what the deal is. Their support is pretty good unless you are trying to cancel your membership...

Check to make sure you don't have your cap-locks on, you using the right domain; check your cable; make sure you have an outside active line (DSL/Broadbank/Dial Up).
