How do you fill screw holes when removing shower doors.?
We want to remove sliding shower doors and replace with standard curtain rod. What sort of caulk or putty or filler do we use for screw holes?

The best type of caulking to use in a bathroom is a latex-based acrylic silicone adhesive caulk...you can 'tool' it smooth with water (on your finger), it cleans up with water, it dries waterproof, is dense, stays rubbery for years and it sticks good. Phenoseal is a well known brand... http://www.phenoseal.com/home.html But there are others.
Any product that provides a watertight seal and remains pliable will work. I recommend tub and shower caulking. All you need are small beads to fill the holes.
I would use tub and tile chalking(DAP). If you are worried adout matching a particular color, your best bet would be to get a color match chalk, these are found in the flooring department of your nearest home improvement store. There will be "sanded" and "non-sanded" chalks, either one will be just fine. Good luck. El Toro Malo.
