Why do most of the answers for YA come in the first 15 minuts after posting a question?

I also asked this under Yahoo Products, but here i am looking for non-technical answers.

Because a lot of people (me included) like to scan through incoming and recent questions (we rarely look through the archives)
I just spend my time on Y! answers pressing the refresh button to get the newest questions.

Because the newer questions are posted on the first page and as the question becomes older it gets pushed on to the other pages. It probably takes about 15 minutes to push it off of the first few pages and most people probably look at only the first one or two pages to find questions for answering.

Considering how many people are logged on at any one time from different countries/Time Zones, it shouldn't be surprising that you get an answer quickly. Also, some people are major points hogs and post an answer just to get points. Even if the answer isn't what the asker was looking for.

because most people, probably everyone, just hits the "answer" tab at the top, and looks at that first page of questions, and answers the ones that interest them, and never go beyond that.

so, after the question is phased out by more and more incoming questions, they are forgotten, and dont get additional answers

I have no Idea! Maybe because people post more question and the old once are like way at the bottom of the page!
