If you are getting a new PC odds are you will have XP on it. All you need to do is transfer everything you want using the XP "transfer wizard", this software is specifically designed to transfer all of your old information to your new system. You can buy a crossover cable from Radio Shack for abut $10 then network your systems together. That way you should not lose anything.

You will need to right click on each bookmark and select properties. There you will see the full URL address and you can print it or save it on notepad. Then email it to your self as an attachment but open it with the new computer and save them here. Hope this helps answer your question. Cheers

You didn't say WHAT BROWSER you're using! E-mail them to your self - that's the best way. But choosing properties under the bookmark and writhing it down is the slow boring way - instead find out where you can export them in the browser and save THAT file and email it to yourself, then import it back upon reinstalling things. In Firefox, it's Bookmarks/ Manage Bookmarks/File(in the new window that opens ) /Export/Save (to the desktop)

Not so sure on IE i never use it.

since you don't have a USB drive, copy the folder C:\Documents and Settings\User_1\Favorites where User_1 is your username to a floppy disc or CD if you have a burner. Insert the disc to your new computer and drag and drop it back to the same place on the new computer (C:\Documents and Settings\User_2\Favorites) where User_2 is the username on the new computer (assuming its a different username).
