I was on the birth control pill for about one year. I went off of it due to mood swings,anxiety & weight gain (started at 110; gained 15pds now weigh 125). I have been off of it for about 5 weeks and I feel really bloated, After my last withdrawl period (4 weeks ago) I haven't gotten my period but feel from time to time I get weak cramps. Has anyone suffered with similar symptoms? How long till I go back to my regular weight(I eat & exercise healthy)?? This is really frustrating! Thanks for your advice....

I was on the pill for 6 years and I gained about 15 pounds as well, which I think will take awhile to lose. I went off the pill a little over a month ago and I had horrible symptoms that felt like I was pregnant. I started my period pretty much on time and the previous day I was getting premenstrual cramping. I feel like I lost some of the bloatiness that I had, my boobs got smaller, but I feel a lot better, except for the fact of getting my painful periods again. Before I went on the pill my periods were about 6-7 days long and when I was on the pill they last around 3-4 days, so now I wonder how long they'll last. I hear that a lot of people can take awhile for their body to get back to normal. I guess I was lucky to get my period on time, so at least you still have some hope.
I had a similar prob and that i also got here off the pill about 2 months in the past ang the subsequent element i talked about changed into that i'm continually bloated. beforehand it changed into in ordinary words efore AF wud come yet now its really a lot commonly used. stay hydrated and drink a variety of of water, tht is meant to assist. I do this and talked about that it doesnt seem bloated as beforehand. yet certain, i also regarded as if i changed into 4 - 5 months preg when I wasnt!
